Homeschool Conference 2011

                       Generation Joshua!!!!!hurrah!

This year we were amending the constitution. So we were all given an Amendment to write. My group had to write about either Lowering or raising the voting age. We decided to raise it, but when the kids were voting...well..ours didn't pass. Then we held a congress meeting. It was really fun!
Then we had to lobby in the vendor hall, and try to get the parents votes. My group teamed up with another group so we could lobby too. We made an AWESOME poster, if i may say so myself...
Much more colorful that any of the other groups posters... Unfortunately, the parents didn't like our amendment either. So we lost by like 50%.Sad. Anyway... Emily got a Tshirt and Hannah got the hoodie that she was supposed to get last year. So It was fun.


And of course Mom bought a bunch of Textbooks.....

Rainbow Runner

While we were having Quilt classes with the girls, I wanted something to work on.
So...I made a runner!
My Grandma bought me the black prints for a Christmas gift, a couple years ago,
 and when we went to JoAnnes with the girls I found the other fabrics to match.
Doesn't it fit perfectly on my hope chest?!

Ok, I did clear off all the clutter for this picture. :)
