Yard Sale Day

Today is Yard Sale Day!
So we got up at six and went to South Park to hang out at Ineke's house until we could start shopping.
Very shortly the lemonade-stand owners ( Ana, Adrea, Grace, and Kristy) decided that *they* were going shopping and *we* were watching the stand. Why did I not see that coming. :P

Ana found three Hermit Crabs. So she bought them. (I don't have pictures, but they are adorable!)

We did escape though! And walked all over the neighborhood....

We found the above trunk. It is the most amazing trunk I have ever seen.
Ineke almost bought it, but her Mom said it smelled like mildew.   :(

It was tragic.

Then Katie and her brother Knox came and we shopped with them.

Then Faith came and we walked round a bit more.
We went back to Ineke's and sat on the porch to talk and take photos.

Amazingly, I only bought one thing. A pair of earrings!! I'm wearing them in this picture.

Yard Sale Day = FUN

A Walk

This year we are hatching Monarch Butterflies. We got two catterpillars earlier -- A big one and a suprise egg that hatched (!), but Mom wanted to get some more so we went down to the Rail Trail to see if we could find any.

It was a 'Prime Blogging Opportunity'..... :D

The clouds were perfect today........and the sun was at a great angle with the trees.

Of course I had to stop and take pictures of Clover.....

And we ended the day with French Toast....MMmmmmm.........

Introduction to Fall

It's not technically fall yet, but it feels like summer is over!
So I took a nature walk around the yard, taking random pictures of summer.........
